Bring
- Windproof jacket or fleece — every month of the year.
- Comfortable closed shoes — the climb is a quarter mile and the paths are uneven.
- Water bottle — refill points are limited but exist.
- Charged phone for your ticket and photos, plus a screenshot of the ticket.
- Sunscreen — Bay light is stronger than the temperature suggests.
- A small bag only — one per person, subject to inspection.
Leave behind
- Large luggage or backpacking packs — not permitted and no storage exists.
- Drones, which are prohibited.
- Pets, other than service animals.
- Anything you would hate to carry uphill.
